Hospital Staff
Allison- Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist Allison just came on board with Creature Comforts in December of 2007. She has 3 years experience as a technician assistant. Allison is also currently learning the receptionist position. When not at work Allison is very busy spending time with her husband, dog and cat. She enjoys traveling and does photography. The most interesting place Allison has traveled to Anguilla located in the British West Indies. |

Ashley - Veterinary Nurse
Ashley has been a veterinary technician at Creature Comforts since February of 2008. She has over nine years experience in veterinary medicine. Ashley is caring and compassionate toward animals, which makes her a great asset to Creature Comforts. When not at work Ashley enjoys spending time with her dog, Alexis. She also enjoys going to the beach and cooking. |
Jennifer - Lead Veterinary Nurse LJ (as she is affectionately called) has been with Creature Comforts now for 7 years; in other words, anything you want to know about the hospital, just ask LJ! She graduated from NCSU with a B.S. in Animal Science and is currently enrolled in a distance learning program for her technician certification. LJ has a full household with her husband James, toddler Christopher and baby Savannah. Also part of the household are dogs Max and Samantha, cats Gus and Hobbes, and rabbits Harvey and Bean. She enjoys crosstitching and country music. |

Megan- Veterinary Assistant Megan joined Creature Comforts in December of 2007 as a technician assistant. When not at work, Megan has the interesting hobby of breeding Chinchillas. She also has 2 dogs. In her free time Megan enjoys spending a lot of quality time with her husband and son. When the weather is warm she also likes to travel to the beach. Her favorite beach to go to is Wrightsville Beach. |
Melody - Receptionist
In March of 2008 Melody joined the Creature Comforts team as a receptionist. Melody has nineteen years of banking experience. In her free time she enjoys being with her family, which include her husband of twenty years and her two teenage children. She also has a dog named Buddy and a cat named Frisbee. Melody also enjoys canning vegetables and fruit, gardening and writing short stories. |

Teri- Veterinary Nurse Teri has been working with Creature Comforts since April of 2007. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of animals ranging from horses to zoo animals. Teri especially enjoys working with cats. When not at work Teri is very active with sports such as boating, wakeboarding, snow skiing, and anything to do with individual fitness. Also Teri enjoys home renovating, gardening and pastry art. |

Ziethy "Z" - Receptionist
"Z" joined the Creature Comforts team as a receptionist. She is a twenty year resident of Apex. "Z" is also a registered nurse. She is married and enjoys being an “empty nester”. She has one yorkie poo. She has many extra curricular activities. "Z" enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, playing golf and hiking. Z also enjoys sewing and working on home improvements. |
Shauna- Lead Receptionist Shauna joined the Creature Comforts staff if December of 2006. She graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in business and economics. Shauna enjoys anything to do with sports and plays on a local volleyball league. She is a fan of professional football and is a die hard Washington Redskins fan. Shauna also enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Sierra and Lucy. |

Jim- Practice Manager Jim came to Creature Comforts in September of 2006 from Michigan where he was the hospital administrator for two veterinary hospitals. He was in the Marine Corps. for 10 years and graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s in business administration. Jim is a member of the Veterinary Hospital Manager Association. During his down time, Jim enjoys spending time with his mini schnauzer, Jasper, and his cat, Casper. Jim also enjoys the outdoors. He is very active with gardening and also enjoys fishing, camping and hiking. |
