Dr. Kevin Coleman joined the Creature Comforts team in 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Florida in 2002. In the same year, Dr. Kevin was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the Major League Baseball draft, after pitching four years on the Gators’ varsity baseball team. Following his baseball career, Dr. Coleman decided to enter the field of veterinary medicine; he received his Doctorate from the University of Florida in 2007. Following graduation, Dr. Coleman accepted an internship position with Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, Colorado, where he trained in emergency and critical care medicine, as well as small animal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Coleman comes to the area with his dog, Gage. His veterinary interests include surgery, cardiology and neurology. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing and spending time with his girlfriend.
