• Dr. Sigmon is a Diplomate of the ABVP (www.ABVP.com) in canine and feline medicine.  Dr. Sigmon is one of seventeen veterinarians in North Carolina with this designation.

• Dr. Kelly worked for 10 years as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in New York and in North Carolina prior to graduating from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine.

• Creature Comforts Animal Hospital is a spacious modern day facility with a  garden area, pond and waterfall.  Our Garden area is used for examinations and consultations.  The Garden area is a perfect location for examinations and consultations out of the hospital in a stress free environment.

• We offer our clients 3.5 acres of beautifully landscaped property to walk their pets before and after examinations.

• House Call visits are available for our established clients within a 10 mile radius.  House Calls are a great convenience and can lower stress to patients.

• Dr. Sigmon works with the American Red Cross, Animal Control of Cary and private client referrals to perform wellness needs of those with pets that are in need of some help during catastrophic and hard economic times.

• We have a balance of Clinicians.  Dr. Mackie works with the Spay Neuter clinic of Southern Pines, altering 55+ animals in two days per week. Dr. Mackie provides his services to the Spay Neuter clinic of Southern Pines in his commitment to helping with the pet overpopulation. His skill set, expertise and shorter surgery times for your pet means increased safety and hastens their recovery time.

• Dr. Sigmon is on the Executive Committee of the NC Veterinary School Foundation.  As an adjunct professional, Dr. Sigmon is in constant contact with the NCSU veterinary clinicians in their individual fields of expertise.

• Dr. Mackie has a wealth of expertise and strong interest in Goldens, Shelties and Cavalier King Charles spaniels.
